Our data came from manually parsing through the Carleton Arts Calendar and entering the event data into a Google spreadsheet. We divided the events into several categories: name, date, description, department, and location. We could not obtain the RSS feed for the calendar in which we would have a standardized way of accessing the event updates on the website. As a result, we worked with a limited amount of data, time, and human resources.
